07.05 Communication and transport for help to nomadic population of Yamal

Different transport means (motor-cars, 55 boats, 300 boat motors, 120 snowmobiles), and also smoking equipment and refrigerators, 282 electric power mini-stations, chain saws were purchased for nomadic population of the region in the frames of realization of the regional special-purposed program “Culture, language, traditional way of life of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North of Yamal in 2003-2007”. During 5 years of acting of the regional program 130 radio stations, satellite and cellular telephones were purchased for nomadic population. More than 5 million rubles were spent for this aim. During the period of realization of the program about 14 thousand medical first-aid kits on the total sum about 6 million rubles were purchased for rendering first medical help to nomadic population.

07.05 Indigenous peoples of Yamal are raising the level of professional skills

Owing to realization of the regional special-purposed program “Culture, language, traditional way of life of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North of Yamal in 2003-2007” deer herders of the region were able to pass through education in the Center of education of Saami region in Finland in the town Inari. This information was given in the course of the collegium of the Department on affairs of ethnic minorities of the North of the region by the deputy chief of the Department, the chief of the board of social-economic development Lubov’ Kashina.

Raising the level of professional skills took place in the frames of the joint project of the Arctic Council and the North Forum on the following directions: “Development of modern manufacturing and processing of production in conditions of stable deer herding” and “The system of self-control of a deer slaughter point”.

Besides, from 2006 to 2008 activists from ethnic minorities of the North were able to raise their professional level in the frames of the Finnish-Russian project on education of non-governmental organizations of Finno-Ugric peoples. The basic tasks of the project are: enlarging of potential for work of Finno-Ugric peoples, increasing of their public significance, strengthening of interregional and international communication, teaching to project work and organizing of financing. By the words of Lubov’ Kashina, every year educational seminars on economic development of national communities, peasants’ economies, business structures were conducted and courses of raising the level of professional skills were organized.

07.05 Creation of the gas province in Yamal will require from “Gazprom” for building of new gas transporting systems

The deputy chairperson of the direction of the company “Gazprom” Alexander Ananenkov conducted in Yekaterinburg the conference on questions on increasing the effectiveness of work of the Common system of gas supply of Russia. Chiefs and specialists of profile subdivisions of the administration of the enterprise, chiefs of gas-transporting organizations and branch enterprises took part in the work of the conference.

By the words of Alexander Ananenkov, Russia has the largest in the world gas-transporting system, which is able to provide uninterrupted deliveries of gas at top seasonal loads. Alexander Ananenkov separately marked the most important perspective gas-transporting projects. By his words, building of the gas pipelines “The South Stream”, “Altai” and “Yakutia – Khabarovsk – Vladivostok” will allow the company considerably diversifying deliveries of gas for export.

The reporter also underlined that forming of new gas-extracting regions on Yamal peninsula, in the Eastern Siberia and the Far East would require for building of large gas-transporting systems. Thus, in connection with exploration of gas resources of Yamal peninsula, till 2030 it will be necessary to construct capacities with yearly production rate more than 300 milliard cubic meters of gas. By the words of Alexander Ananenkov, creation of the new Yamal gas-transporting corridor will provide delivery of Yamal gas and also will increase the safety of work of the Common system of gas supply of Russia.

In the conclusion of the report Alexander Ananenkov underlined that the planned level of gas extraction till 2010 would be reached owing to acting fields and fields of Nadym-Pur-Tazovskiy region being input to extraction.

07.05 The number of national communities in Yamal increased

One of the results of realization of the regional special-purposed program “Culture, language, traditional way of life of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North of Yamal in 2003-2007” is increase of number of nomadic population. In the opinion of specialists of the regional Department on affairs of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North, first of all, it says about social stability and interest of tundra people in conducting of the traditional way of life.

During the time of acting of the program, it was possible to decrease unemployment among indigenous inhabitants of the region, the number of communities grew considerably – from 20 in 2003 to more than 60 in 2007, for the present day about 1500 people are occupied in them. Besides, the number of schoolchildren learning native languages increased as well.

07.05 It is planned to make the historical-cultural and natural complex in the capital of Yamal

The collective of Yamal-Nenets regional Museum-exhibition complex of I.S. Shemanovskiy appealed to the Committee on social and informational policy of the town Duma with the suggestion to make the common historical-cultural and natural complex in Salekhard.

The basic aim of making such complex is in solving of a large task of turning the new center of the regional capital to the historical-cultural and natural complex of Yamal. It is supposed that the following establishments will be included to the historical-cultural and natural complex: the Museum-exhibition complex, the Cultural-business center, the National electronic library and the Museum of bone, which is on the stage of elaboration, the art gallery and the Museum in the open air, which will include different expositions. Thus, it is planned to make the exposition, dedicated to history of the river transport from ancient time to modernity on the bank of the river. The historical exposition will present monuments of archeology and architecture. The ethnographic exposition will include the Nenets choum (the national dwelling of tepee kind), narty (the national sledge), household buildings of Khanty people, Komi-izba (a little house of Komi people), and also sculptures depicting representatives of different peoples living in Yamal, all in national clothes. The exposition presenting oil and gas development of the region will include a little dwelling (“balok”), a derrick, a go-anywhere vehicle and other exhibits. Besides, the complex will include the natural park, which will acquaint visitors with vegetative and mineral riches of Yamal, and the ground from conducting of town measures. Creation of the museum in the open air, as it is marked in the conception, will make high-esthetic atmosphere in the whole complex and will provide enlargement of its cultural-educational potential.

The idea of the presented conception of the Museum-exhibition complex was approved by members of the committee and deputies of the State Duma of the town. But it was marked that it needs to think over the financial side of the project.

The participants of the sitting decided to take the conception as the basis of the program document, to calculate financial expenditures and to bring in the elaborated project for public discussion.

07.05 Dmitriy Medvedev is the youngest President of Russia during the latest 100 years

07.05 Dutch and Yamal people are realizing joint projects in the sphere of fuel power-engineering complex

The Dutch company “GasTerra” counts to strengthen contacts with Russia and hopes for cooperation in development of shelf of Yamal peninsula. It was declared by the chief executive director of “GasTerra” Gertjan Lankhorst in the interview to RIA “Novosti”.

By his words, he would like to receive the information about potential of cooperation in two spheres: development of fields on Yamal peninsula and further cooperation in the sphere of science and education.

Last year the Ministry for industry and power-engineering informed that it had received suggestions from Dutch companies about participation in development of shelf of Yamal peninsula, which is the strategic region for the gas monopoly. 26 fields were discovered within the limits of the region – their prospected reserves of gas make 10,4 trillion cubic meters.

Speaking about cooperation of “GasTerra” with “Gazprom”, mister Lankhorst called it “very successful”. By his words, the Netherlands have own gas, reserves of which are decreasing. Usage of gas is wide-spread in the country and this source of power will play the leading role during long time.

07.05 Priuralskiy district intends to make new national communities

It is planned to make three new communities in Priuralskiy district of Yamal for making of additional vacancies in deer herding and fishing branches. 9 communities, 1 peasant-farming economy, 2 agricultural cooperatives and 8 individual businessmen are registered in the district now. The regional special-purposed program “Culture, language, traditional way of life of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North of Yamal in 2003-2007” rendered considerable support in social-economic development of indigenous population of the district. More than 14 million rubles were spent during the time of its realization. The means were allocated for purchase and modernization of equipment, payment for education and purchase of medical first-aid kits. In the result, it was possible to raise the level of education during 5 years of realization of the program. Help to students from non-prosperous families was rendered - more than 100 people received additional social scholarships, 39 received money for paying for dormitories.

For the present day more than 15 thousand people live on the territory of Priuralskiy district, 4000 of them are indigenous ethnic minorities of the North, 450 families of them (about 2000 people) conduct nomadic and half-nomadic way of life. More than 62 thousand of deer are counted in deer herding economies of the district.

06.05 “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” is repaying “The debt of memory”

The charity action of the company “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” “The debt of memory” started before the Victory Day in the town Noviy Urengoy. By the information of the press-service of the company, this year the branch of “Gazprom” allocated more than 400 thousand rubles for rendering individual help of veterans of the Great Patriotic War and privilege categories of citizens equated to them.

The director general wished veterans for strong health, long years of life, peace, well-being, emotional warmth, love and care in their families.

The company “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” gave presents and individual money premiums to veterans. “The debt of memory” is not a single action. Such measures are conducted regularly in the frames of the Program of rendering individual help to veterans of the Great Patriotic War, including before the Day of the Defender of the Motherland, the Day of elder people and the New Year’s Day.

06.05 The anniversary of the system of additional education was marked in Nadym

The honoring of pedagogues of additional education took place in the town Nadym. The Department of education of Nadym district organized the holiday for grown-ups and children, teachers of additional education and all, who wish to see achievements of young inhabitants of the town and the district.

The brightest creative works, presentations, photographs and awards of pupils were presented on the exhibition before the ceremony.

5 Nadym pedagogues of additional education are awarded with the Honorary diplomas of the Department of education of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug for big contribution to development of education in the region. The sitting of the collegium of the Department on affairs of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North of Yamal took place in the town Salekhard on the 6th of May. Representatives of the profile Department, chiefs of offices and boards in the sphere of agricultural complex and affairs of peoples of the North from 5 districts of Yamal and the town Salekhard and also other specialists took part in this work.

The basic question of the agenda is summing up of results of realization of measures of the regional special-purposed program “Culture, language, traditional way of life of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North of Yamal in 2003-2007”.

This program was realized on the territory of the region on three directions. Keeping and developing of national art and culture, keeping and developing of language, written language, training of personnel, and also keeping of the traditional way of life of indigenous peoples of Yamal.

Thus, the following measures were conducted: individual support of centers of crafts and creative workshops was fulfilled, expeditions on researching and describing of the technology of making items of decorative-applied art, traditional festivals, contests and holidays were conducted. At this, in the opinion of participants of the collegium, questions of keeping of language, written language and training of high-qualified personnel from indigenous inhabitants of Yamal have important significance for the region in conditions of industrial development of the region. That is why 20 different manuals and textbooks (more than 9000 copies), and booklets, scientific and fiction literature about life and traditions of indigenous peoples were published. By the data of the All-Russian population census of 2002 the following number of indigenous peoples can speak native languages: Nenets people – 85,5%, Khanty – 68,6% and Selkoup – 62,7%.

Besides, expenditures for paying education at receiving of the first correspondence education were compensated for more than 400 students and to 52 students at receiving the second higher education on the speciality “The state and municipal management” for training of specialists in the frames of the program. In total 40 specialists received the higher education by correspondence during the period of action of the program. All of them are provided with job.

06.05 Schoolchildren of Nadym are finishing the work on making the electronic Book of memory

The Museum of combat glory works on the base of the second town school of Nadym. Pupils of this school are finishing the work on making the electronic Book of memory of Nadym district. The schoolchildren transfer available data about Nadym veterans of the Great Patriotic War, participants of the labor front, and also names and archive data about inhabitants of the district, who died on battle-fronts, to the common multi-media edition. It will be more long-lasted than printed editions, and considering the newest technologies, will allow uniting, systematizing and illustrating of information.

06.05 Young white cranes will have their own guide

The new stage of the project “Sterkh” is being spread in Yamal. In the end of May – the beginning of June the groups of specialists is planning to fly to Kunovat natural reserve (Shuryshkarskiy district, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug) to analyze conditions of life of white cranes (sterkhs) and to put eggs of these birds to nests of grey cranes.

By the information given to a correspondent of IA “Sever-Press” by the chief of the fund “Sterkh”, the chairperson of the regional executive committee of the party “Yedinaya Rossiya” Alexander Yermakov, little white cranes grown by grey cranes are occurred to be more adapted to life in wild nature than their “open-air cage” congeners. Grey cranes teach little white cranes to fly, to find food, to recognize danger. Migration routes of white and grey cranes coincide as well.

Besides, enthusiasts of the fund “Sterkh” constructed the flying apparatus intended for teaching nestlings born “in cage” to fly. The first plane with the help of which ways of migration were shown to birds made speed 55-65 kilometers per hour what is optimal for a grown-up bird. Nestlings could not keep pace with. Now the second lighter and slower plane is made on the basis of the first flying apparatus. It makes speed 35-45 kilometers per hour what coincides to speed of flight of young white cranes.

06.05 The airport of Nadym will receive airbuses

The federal agency on air transport of Russia allowed the airport of the town Nadym to accept planes Airbus A320-200 and its modifications. This information was given to IA “Sever-Press” in the agency on air transport of Russia.

The aim of the exhibition is to show contribution of inhabitants of Yamal to the Victory of Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War with the help of museum items.

The sitting of the Committee on social and informational policy took place in the administration of the town Salekhard. The project of the regulations about the order of immortalizing memory of outstanding people and events in the regional capital was scrutinized.

The project of the regulations was presented by the department on culture and work with the youth of the town administration. The aim of taking the regulations is preservation of historical memory, succession of cultural traditions in titles of streets, planning elements of town building, and also ordering of placing, registering and protecting of monuments, memorable signs, memorial boards and other memorable objects in the capital of Yamal. The criteria, which are the basis for taking decisions about immortalizing memory of outstanding people and events in history of Salekhard, are elaborated in the regulations.

By the words of specialists, elaboration of the regulations is connected with the next special date – the 415th anniversary of the town Salekhard. The definite scheme of scrutinizing and establishing of received suggestions about immortalizing memory of outstanding people and events is necessary. 05.05 Yamal festival of youth subcultures is being opened in Tyumen

The regional festival of youth subcultures “We choose life” is taking place in Tyumen. It is being conducted in the frames of the priority national project “Education” with the aim of assistance to creative growth of the talented youth, propaganda of the healthy way of life, increase of the level of performing skills of creative collectives of hip-hop direction.

By the information given to a correspondent of IA “Sever-Press” in the Department on the youth policy of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, teams, which passed through the selective stage in municipal formations of Yamal – about 100 participants – are taking part in the second regional stage of the festival.

As we should mark, the regional festival has been conducted since 2002, creative collectives, winners of town and district festivals at the age from 14 to 25 years old on the given directions take part in it: rap, break-dance, writers (graffiti) and beat-box.

The program of the festival includes master-classes on the given directions, different measures and the final contest. The jury evaluates performances of contest participants on 10 points scale. The best Slovenian photographer Arne Hodalich, a representative of the thematic magazine “Emzin” is planning to visit Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug from 14th to 22nd of May of this year in the frames of the cultural exchange between Russia and Slovenia. This information was given by specialists of the international tourist operator of the region “Yamaltour”. By their words, the magazine “Emzin” is an absolute pioneer on Slovenian editorial market. It widely illustrates questions of the world art and culture. The next edition of the magazine, publishing of which is planned in June of 2008, will be dedicated to modern Russia. In the opinion of editors, “the presentation of the Nenets people of Yamal on pages of the magazine is a unique opportunity for Slovenian readers to learn more about exclusive cultural and natural richness of Russian North”.

Arne Hodalich will go to the ethnographic tour “The spring nomadic traveling around Yamal peninsula” for more detailed acquaintance with the way of life, original culture and ancient traditions of Yamal tundra people. On the 14th of May the photo-correspondent from Slovenia will arrive to the capital of Yamal – the town Salekhard, then on the 15th of May he will go by helicopter to the settlement Yar-Salye of Yamalskiy district, where the excursion trip will be conducted for him. He will get acquainted to technology of processing deer pelts and sewing clothes, footgear, making things, exclusive souvenir production. On the next day Arne Hodalich accompanied by guides will go by snowmobile to the national northern trade station, which is situated in 65 kilometers away from Yar-Salye.

The chief of the Agency on tourism of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Vladimir Zobnin marks that in 2008 interest of foreign travelers to tourist potential of the region considerably increased. Thus, in the end of May the group of three French cinematographers is planning to visit Yamal with the aim of preparation to shooting the documentary film about life of indigenous population.

As we should add, the film group of the TV program “Around the world” - «Wayfarer» headed by the English presenter Martin Andrews worked on the territory of Yamal in August of 2007. The result of work is two TV projects about travels around the arctic north of Russia, which had success in countries of EU, Canada and the USA.

05.05 Yamal veterans and students went to the Memory trip to Germany

Veterans of the Great Patriotic War went from the town Salekhard to Hannover (Germany). The group will reach for Moscow by railroad, and will go to Germany by plane of the aviation company “KD avia” (Kaliningrad aviation lines).

The veterans of the Great Patriotic War - Roman Sokolov and Nikolay Shakurov (both veterans of 1926 year of birth and live in Salekhard) and the former minor prisoner of fascist concentration camps Klavdia Sova (was born in 1937 and lives in Noyabrsk) are taking part in the trip. A physician of the ambulance station from the town Salekhard and an employee of the Department of international and interregional communication of Yamal are accompanying the veterans.

Also two students from Salekhard pedagogical college went to Hannover. The school historical club for researching of history of the Soviet memorial is made on the base of the gymnasia of Heinrich Heine in Hannover. The students of pedagogical college are pen-pals with their coevals from this school. Yamal people took the orange-black symbol of the Great Victory with them – 300 ribbons of Saint George.

By the information of the press-service of the governor of Yamal, on the 8th of May in Hannover Yamal people will honor the memory of their countrymen with laying the memory wreath to the memorial to soviet military prisoners shot-killed in Hannover on the 6th of April of 1945. Representatives of the town authorities, German and Russian organizations will gather near the Soviet memorial. It is planned, that lord mayor of Hannover, Mister Weil will tell about the project of partner patronage to the memorial to victims of fascism. The patronage was taken by pupils of the school of Heinrich Heine and representatives of the youth department of the trade union of metallurgists. The historical-informational stand in Russian and German languages will be opened. Its initiators are pupils of the school of Heinrich Heine.

After the ceremony, by the invitation of Lower Saxony land department of “The Union of antifascists”, the participants and guests will be invited to the town hall. In the evening Yamal people will take part in the mournful ceremony near the monument to leaders of antifascist movement, situated on the place of the demolished building of Hannover prison.

Besides, it is planned that the guests will visit the memorial complex of Buchenwald, and also Yamal people will meet with German schoolchildren, will get acquainted to representatives of Lower Saxony land department of “The Union of antifascists” and will take part in other measures. As we should add, all events of the Memory trip will be financed by journalists from the regional TV and radio company “Yamal-Region”.

The trip is organized by the Department of international and interregional communication of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The invitation to take part in the measures in Hannover, which was received from the representative bureau Volga Int, was supported by the governor of Yamal Yuriy Neyolov.

05.05 “Gazprom” will stock 64 milliard cubic meters of gas for the next winter

The direction of the company “Gazprom” charged profile subdivisions of the company in making the reserve of tank gas in Russian underground storehouses of gas till the beginning of the next autumn-winter period in the amount not less than 64 milliard cubic meters.

Besides, as it is specified in the message of the company, the Direction charged in providing of conducting plan-preventive and repair work on objects of the Common system of gas supply, to increase growth of maximum daily production rate of underground storehouses of gas up to 620 million cubic meters and average daily production rate of underground storehouses of gas up to 500 million cubic meters, and during autumn-winter period of 2007-2008 – up to 492,35 million cubic meters with the aim of safe and uninterrupted work of the Common system of gas supply during the next autumn-winter season.

Besides, branch enterprises of the gas monopolist are charged in fulfilling plans on major repair and diagnostics of objects of extracting, underground storing and processing of gas in 2008, and also preparing of transport means and special equipment for work in autumn-winter period of 2008-2009.

During the past autumn-winter period the company extracted 297,9 milliard cubic meters, what is on 4,9 milliard cubic meters more than during the analogous period of 2006-2007.

During autumn-winter period gas recovery from underground storehouses situated on the territory of Russia made 50,05 milliard cubic meters, what is on 4,4 milliard cubic meters more than the plan task. At this, in January the historical maximum of daily gas recovery from underground storehouses was reached - 583,6 million cubic meters.

05.05 Yamal increases financing of house-building

Yamal will allocate 1322 million rubles from the regional budget for solving the housing problem, what in 2,6 times more than last year. This year it is planned to build 352 thousand square meters. Till 2010 the region intends to reach for yearly amount of input to operation of 530-540 thousand square meters of housing area proceeding from one square meter per each inhabitant.

Yamal will allocate 911 million rubles, 4 times more than last year, to resettlement of citizens from ramshackle housing fund. 240 million rubles will be spent for dwelling of young families, considerable amount of means will be allocated for purchase dwelling for children-orphans and children, who stayed without parents’ care.

Last year 266 thousand square meters of dwelling were input to operation in Yamal, in 2007 – 276 thousand square meters. Nevertheless, growth of input of dwelling to operation considerably increased. Thus, only 180 thousand square meters of dwelling were input to operation in 2005, and already 300 thousand – in 2006.

The building-engineering company “The trust – Siberian integration, assemblage and setup” and the company “NOVATEK – Purovskiy plant of processing of condensate” concluded the agreement about building the storage of liquefied gas for the second stage of the plant.

In conformity with the contract, the reservoir park, the pump-compressor station, the power unit with an operator’s room, units of control, pumping stations of water supply and sewerage, an emergency diesel electric power station, technological and engineering networks will be constructed in Purovskiy plant.

Purovskiy plant on processing of condensate was built by “NOVATEK” in 2005. Functions of the general contractor on building the objects also were fulfilled by “The trust – Siberian integration, assemblage and setup”, as Vsluh.ru informs.

The company “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” will build the park with the open sportive ground in the settlement Yamburg. Because of climatic conditions of Zapolyarye (Polar regions) at maintenance of the settlement the gas extracting enterprise was one of the first to construct the cultural-sportive complex, which includes a gymnasium, several halls with training apparatuses, a swimming-pool, halls for table-tennis and billiard, and also a concert hall. But exactly long winter and short summer are the reasons of building the open sportive ground, as it is informed to IA “Sever-Press” in the Board on public communication of the company. The shorter is warm time of a year, more usefully it needs to use it.

The project foresees equipping the summer sportive ground with artificial German covering “SportPlast” with the drain system. Here inhabitants will be able to play tennis, mini-football volleyball and other sportive games, to conduct cultural measures.

It is planned to plant trees on the perimeter of the ground, to place benches in the park part, the whole territory will be illuminated and paths for walks will be paved with paving slabs.

04.05 “Industrial Ural – Polar Ural” must be included to the long-term strategy of development of Russia

In Yekaterinburg on the conference on questions of elaboration of strategies of development of regions the plenipotentiary of the President of Russian Federation in Ural Federal Okrug Pyotr Latyshev marked that Ural used its resources and potential ineffectively. The basic branches for economy of the region are machine-building, metallurgy, oil and gas extracting industry. However, the row of problems restricts development. Enterprises bring materials for production from abroad, what puts them to dependence on world prices.

The Polar and Circumpolar Urals can provide requirements of enterprises of the region more than on 80 years ahead. In the opinion of Pyotr Sumin, the mega-project “Industrial Ural – Polar Ural” is very important not only for economy of Ural but for the whole country. The project must be included as an integral part to the long-term strategy of development of Russia.

Also recovery of gas in Zapolyarnoye and Pestsovoye fields was increased.

Members of the Direction of “Gazprom” charged profile subdivisions of the company in making reserves of tank gas in Russia till the beginning of the next autumn-winter period in the amount not less than 64 milliard cubic meters for providing of safe and uninterrupted work of the Common system of gas supply during autumn-winter period of 2008-2009. Increase of maximum daily production rate is to make 620 million cubic meters of gas.

Branch enterprises of the company are charged in providing of fulfillment of plans and programs of diagnostics, major repair and reconstruction of objects of extracting, transporting, underground storing and processing of gas in 2008.

04.05 “Gazprom” will store crude in the Eastern Germany

The joint-stock company “Gazprom” and German Verbundnetz Gas AG signed the agreement about building the underground storehouse in the Eastern Germany, as it is informed to IA “Sever-Press” in the Board of information of Russian gas monopolist. The capacity of the storehouse will make 510 million cubic meters of gas.

During the nearest 14 years “Gazprom” and Verbundnetz Gas AG intend together to invest building of 10 additional capacities on the total sum about 350 million euro. Input to operation of the first stage of the storehouse is planned for 2009, the last – for 2022.

04.05 The basic priorities of the summer campaign is health and safety of children

Chiefs of the Department of education, the boards of social programs, on affairs of the youth and sports, the Fund of social insurance and the Center of employment of population told about directions of work in organizing of summer rest and employment of children of Nadym district on the conference.

In 2008 summer rest and health improving of children and teenagers will be organized on bases of different directivity: specialized sanatoriums, sportive, health improving, military-patriotic camps and rehabilitation centers. The geography of rest is vast: Moscow region, Saint-Petersburg, Kurgan, Tyumen and Tyumen region, the Black Sea coast of Russia and Bulgaria. School summer camps, grounds and the complex of health improving measures will be organized for children who will stay in the district for summer.

By the information given to IA “Sever-Press” in the Informational-analytical board of the administration of Nadym district, it is planned to cover more than 3000 children with the organized rest. More than 24,5 million rubles are allocated for these aims, including more than 18 million rubles from the budget of Nadym district.

The priority right for receiving of privilege travel passes stays for children from non-prosperous families and socially unfavorable families. Children from a children’s house and a social orphanage will have rest and will improve health free of charge. Packages of documents according to individual programs of rehabilitation of children-invalids are being formed in the Board of social programs.

Special requirements are made to organizing of summer rest and traveling to it. By the information of specialists, it is necessary to make not only comfortable conditions for rest of children, but to provide maximum safety for them. The basic accent is made on safety of traveling of children to the place of rest and back, safe stay of children in places of rest, and also sanitary-epidemiologic state of territories of camps and sanatoriums. Big attention is paid to organizing of rest of children of “the risk group” (problem children) and employment of teenagers during summer.

04.05 The Speaker of the State Duma of Yamal is awarded with the Order “Russian nation”

The chairperson of the State Duma of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the president of the Association of ethnic minorities of the North, Siberia and the Far East of Russia Sergey Kharyuchi is awarded with the Order “Russian nation”. The decision about awarding was taken by the Award council of the All-Russian union of public associations “Russian nation” for special merits of Sergey Kharyuchi before Russian nation and the State, for considerable contribution to providing of national unity, strengthening of Russian State, developing of the civil society, keeping of ethnic-cultural legacy of peoples of Russian Federation, inter-ethnic and inter-confession agreement, preventing of xenophobia and extremism.

The Order “Russian nation” is the nation-wide award, founded by the All-Russian union of public associations “Russian nation” in 2008. The ideological-political notion “Russian nation” personifies civil-political and spiritual unity of Russians independently on social-professional status and age, nationality and religion, political views, place of residence and other circumstances.

04.05 Participants of the ice expedition are repairing their cars on the island Golomyanniy

The participants of the Sea ice motor-car expedition visited the polar station on the island Golomyanniy. Vasiliy Yelagin and Ivan Kruzhelevskiy were here earlier in 2004. Now there are two people on the station, other employees are on their vacation. The polar explorers go to meteorological devices along laid wooden floors and obligatorily with a signal pistol – against bears.

By the information given by the chief of the headquarters of the expedition Nina Samsonadze, the current repair is being conducted in workshops of the station. Driving along the route will be continued after exploring the ice situation. The participants of the expedition mark that there are high hummocks – about 6-7meters – along the coast, and in the strait there are ice-holes, around which bears gather.

As we should mark, the Sea ice motor-car expedition started in the town Salekhard on the 24th of March. Its aim is in setting of the sportive record in reaching for the North Pole by cars. The expedition includes 8 famous Russian travelers and mountaineers. The expedition is being conducted by two innovational amphibious cars “Yemelya” with the best technical characteristics for driving in conditions of the Arctic. The cars were designed by the chief of the expedition, a constructor Vasiliy Yelagin.

04.05 Salekhard is the capital of “The Universe of children’s art”

The ceremonial opening of the Regional exhibition-contest of decorative-applied art and creative work “The Universe of children’s art” took place in the town Salekhard in the exhibition hall of the Museum-exhibition complex of I.S.Shemanovskiy. It is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the state system of additional education.

The organizers of the creative children’s holiday are specialists of the regional Department of education, the Department of education of the town Salekhard, employees of the Center of children’s art and Yamal-Nenets Museum-exhibition complex of I.S.Shemanovskiy.

Participation in the exhibition-contest gives children the opportunity to realize their creative skills, to communicate and share the available experience with coevals.

33 educational establishments from 13 municipal formations of Yamal took part in the contest. By the information given to IA “Sever-Press” in the regional Department of education, the first place was given to a school of the town Labytnangi. Other 13 schools from several Yamal towns were included to the rating list. This rating will be sent to the Ministry for education and science of Russian Federation for preparation of the order about the state support for each school. Already in summer the schools will receive 1 million rubles each in the frames of the national project “Education”.

Besides, the schools, which took the 15th and 16th places, will receive the special grant of the governor of the region Yuriy Neyolov – 500 thousand rubles to each.
